Our Brand History

Since 1969, Tuck & Howell Plumbing, Heating & Air has served our community with one simple goal: take care of people the right way. For more than 56 years, generations of homeowners and businesses have trusted our team for plumbing, heating, and air services and that legacy is something we’ve never taken lightly.

But over time, we realized something important.

While our reputation remained strong, our brand no longer reflected who we had become. The old look represented a different era of business. Like many long-standing companies in the trades, we had fallen into what you could call “white van syndrome”, which means we were blending into the background alongside every other service company on the road.

We knew it was time for a change.

Our rebrand wasn’t about abandoning our history. It was about honoring it while bringing Tuck & Howell Plumbing, Heating & Air into today’s world with a clearer, more modern identity. We wanted a brand that better represented the full scope of what we do and the professionalism we bring to every home and commercial property we serve.

Every part of the redesign was intentional. The homes featured in our branding represent our residential services. The buildings in the background reflect our commercial work. We also updated our identity to more clearly communicate the plumbing, heating, and air services we provide every day.

One of the biggest transformations came when we wrapped our fleet. Suddenly we started hearing “We see you guys everywhere.” The truth is, we’d always been there. The difference was that now people could recognize us.

That visibility matters. Our trucks are rolling billboards for the company, our people, and the reputation we’ve spent decades building. We wanted a brand that stood out, and not because it was flashy, but because it genuinely reflected the quality and care behind the name Tuck & Howell Plumbing, Heating & Air.

The journey even led to our company being featured in the second edition of Branded Not Blanded: KickChargeTM Your Home Service Brand by Dan Antonelli, where our story appears as an example of how legacy companies can modernize while staying true to who they are.

At the end of the day, our mission hasn’t changed. We’re still the same company built on relationships, trust, and service. We simply gave our brand a look that finally matches the standard we’ve worked to uphold since 1969.

And we’re just getting started.
