Called Tuck&Howell this morning for a non emergent leak that was discovered late yesterday evening. They had a technician over to my house, issue diagnosed and issue fixed before most folks/businesses would return your call. Will (our technician) was friendly, quick with his work and most importantly, competent in his job. Thank you for helping me get back to my work.

Holden Graves was very professional. He told me the good the bad and the ugly. He showed a great level of care and concern. Mr.Derrick Hallums US Army retired.

Everything went great and I was very happy with how efficient the service technician was.

Will did a great and fast job. He also explained everything as he went. I would highly recommend. Also set me up for annual plumbing and HVAC maintenance plan.

My tech Tyler came in and went straight to checking on my units. He explained what he was doing, what he found and how to keep up the maintenance for my units. Showed me what he did and why it needed to be done. I would definitely recommend Tuck & Howell to my neighbors and friends.

From my first interaction with the Field Advisor, Nathan Capeder to the technicians who arrived to demo and install new ductwork (Cole, Blane, Donnie, Jose & Oscar) and even the next day visit made by Robby - this company gets 5 stars for its professionalism, eye for detail, and quick, efficient workmanship. We are very pleased we were in contact with Tuck & Howell - no wonder they have been around for over 60 years.

They have been such a dream since moving to Greenville, we had an emergency replacement of out heating and cooling, they were fast, communicative, and very professional. We enjoyed them so much we are using them again for our plumbing project!!

Kole did a system tune up on the heating system and then fixed the AC which wasn't working and would trip the breaker when we tried to run the AC. Ended up having to replace the compressor. Luckily it was 2 days inside the warranty. Kole took immediate action to get the unit replaced within the warranty saving me hundreds in additional costs. Kole was very easy to work with and answered all of my questions and concerns.

I just want to send SUPER praises to Tuck & Howell and their crew. I had a plumbing issue and was getting quoted ridiculous prices for half the work that was done. Will was the technician that came out to help, and he was exceptional,***** he walked me step by step through the process, provided estimates that were within my budget and when it was time for the job to start, he came on time with Timmy and Adam and they were all great. Holden came to work on several problems we have had with our AC unit. He fixed them all, some of which were there since we bought our house in 2022. He explained everything in detail and what he did as well as operational procedures we may have to undertake in order to keep it running efficiently and how to save $$$ on our heating and air bill and breathe cleaner air. He kept us informed of everything along the way and contacted us every day he was coming out as well as obstacles that may have needed to be overcome. We live close and since we moved here from Simpsonville in June of 2023 (6 months after buying the house), we were looking for a reputable heating and air company and we believe we found it. Also, thanks goes out to Ben and the dispatchers at Tuck & Howell as well as Holden’s assistant one day, Braylon. Our 20 year old daughter who is away at school is especially excited to come and meet Marvin & Margaret so we’ll be seeing you soon!

Amazing! We were always hot the cooler never worked like it should . It’s was always on 68• I was still miserable. They came in knew what the problem was. When they were finished and we got home, for the first time in this home we were freezing. I don’t think our cooler has been lower than 70• since. They also said it would be finished in two days it was done in one day. They are busy sometimes the first visit takes a bit longer. I’m telling you it’s worth the wait, They are worth the money.

Holden Graves helped us out from Tuck and Howell. I really appreciate how he was upfront and honest about what we really need to do to replace our system long term, but was able to get us a new capacitor and hard start kit to get us through the season, until we can replace the system.

Hector was dispatched to our home for some plumbing issues. He took out our garbage disposal, cleaned up our drain. Was in and out in less than 1.5hrs! He was friendly, informative and respectful. Thank you again tuck & Howell!

Been having decreased AC efficiency over 3 yrs. Had been using a guy I was confident in that couldn't figure it out. Called Call Dad and they recommended replacing the unit and after discounts and referrals they wanted 10,100$ to change out a 2 ton package unit, all electric. Jesse from Tuck and Howell was here about 15 minutes of asking me questions and diagnosing the unit and figured out what two other professionals couldnt. Turns out a animal, probably a cat, had torn up my duct work and the air was cooling my crawl space instead of the house. I highly recommend Tuck and Howell and in particular, Jesse. He is nice friendly and definately knowledgeable. 5 Stars!!

Our old ductwork, originally installed by Tuck and Howell in 1991, was overdue for replacement. After getting multiple quotes, we were won over by Tuck and Howell’s courteous staff and decided to return to them for duct replacement. The crew of Dennis, Tom and Hunter (along with their manager, Jesse) were prompt, efficient, and very patient with us as we tried to remedy a complex problem. Had an amazing experience with Tuck and Howell this week. My heating system was broken and needed to be replaced as it was old and making noise. They were able to come that day and gave me a fair quote to replace it. They were able to install a new HVAC the next day. The technicians were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. JD recommended and installed the Reme Halo LED and it has made a HUGE difference in the air quality in our home. I live in an older condo and odors transfer from our neighbor - she diffuses essential oils particularly eucalyptus. Diffusing essential oils emits VOC's into the air and the Reme helps clear our air and gives me peace of mind that our health is not being compromised. Very grateful to JD for all of his help!

Woodruff, SC Recently, I needed to have a complete replumbing job done! Of course, I was floored by the aspect of the undertaking. However, I knew that I to get the work completed. I called Tuck & Howell because of the work they did with my HVAC. I talked with the technician, James, who talk with me about options the company offered. He made sure that I understood the entire process, and the follow-up. As a result, I chose the company to complete the job. I am happy that I made the decision! The work was completed very professionally and in reasonable amount of time. They took away the garbage of old pipes and fittings. Afterwards, I was walked step-by-step through the completed work. I cannot believe the difference that this job has made! Hopefully, I won't need them any time soon! However, if I do, I won't hesitate to choose Tuck & Howell! Team made scheduling easy. Got a text as the team was heading over for clarity. Professionals put covers on their shoes before entering. They talked through their visit before and after. They were quick, thorough, and did not attempt to sell me services/items unless they were necessary. (This was a routine HVAC inspection in preparation for needing my A/C) pricing was competitive. Knowledge and expertise would be the most important factors and Tyler was great. After that, his communication skills were great as was his consideration of us and our house and his patience.

When Hector came out to repair my toilet, I wasn’t just getting a repair, I got a crash course in plumbing! His passion for the craft was obvious from the first moment. Not only did he diagnose the leaks I was experiencing with clear explanations, but he also dispelled my own misconceptions about the issue. He walked me through exactly why I had two separate leaks and offered me practical options, with price points that were incredibly fair. But he didn’t stop there. Hector went above and beyond, adjusting my sink’s water pressure and offering valuable tips about my tankless water heater all while maintaining the same enthusiasm. We’ve been using Tuck & Howell since we moved to SC from New Orleans in 2012. We’ve always been pleased with their work. Recently, we needed to have the ductwork on our 40 year old house replaced. Our technicians were Denis & Blane and we were blessed to have them. They worked as hard as anyone could expect. They pushed nonstop and were really committed to doing a great job for us. They are great representatives for their company and we will continue to use and recommend Tuck & Howell because of employees like them.

I recently had my outside HVAC unit moved by Tuck and Howell due the original placement right outside my bedroom window which was loud and disruptive. Jesse was at my house the day after I called for an estimate for this job and Brock came the next week to move the unit for me. Both gentlemen were very courteous and thorough in their work. Tuck and Howell is everything you would want for great service on your HVAC system. I also have their maintenance plan which is very reasonably priced. Their office staff is friendly and very helpful in getting things organized as well. I highly recommend Tuck and Howell!

We have an Annual HVAC Maintenance and it came in handy when both AC units failed to turn on during this March Hotspell. We called Tuck and Howell and immediately were scheduled for a priority call the next day. Our technician Holden arrived on-time and immediately started to trouble-shoot the cause(s) for both units failing to start and found the faults and fixed them. Job well done, Holden!!!

A cleaning was done just as Jay explained, and during the service they discovered it needs a heater kit, which they are ordering and will be replacing. I recently had Kole Brown come to my house to inspect my HVAC system because I had not been able to get warm this winter. This young man found various problems and explained each and every to me. Kole returned and fixed the problems. He again explained what he had done and shared before and after pictures with me. I reached out to Tuck and Howell to diagnose my AC before placing my home on the market for sale. Holden came out and throughly checked my system and offered options that other companies hadn't. He was very professional. I appreciate Matthew coming out and reviewing financing options and getting us set up to replace my old unit. We will be calling again for maintenance at the new house and mini-splits as well!

Great experience in the end! We hit a few bumps at the beginning of our Generac installation, but the Tuck & Howell stepped up and resolved everything quickly. They proved they really care about their reputation and their customers.

BJ did a wonderful job on maintaining my HVAC system and at the same time instructed me on better use of my thermostat.

I hired Tuck & Howell to do the plumbing for a master bath retrofit at my house. New plumbing lines had to be run and other existing lines had to be moved to new locations. They also installed a new shower head and rain shower head. Jim and Hunter were wonderful technicians and always kept me in the loop with what was going on. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none. Will be referring this group to friends and family for future projects.

I had originally canceled an appointment, because of timing. However, one evening a follow up call came in with a customer service rep asking how things were going. It was perfect timing, because I hadn't had a chance to reschedule. We rescheduled on the spot. On the day of the appointment our tech was extremely responsive. Letting me know he was on his way and asking if we were available. Very courteous. The appointment went really well. Several diagnoses were performed, and our system checked out. Pricing was provided for annual service, which I am intending on pursuing. However, it wasn't pushed - which I liked. Overall, this is a fine organization and look to do business with them again.

After signing up for an annual maintenance on our air/ heating units, we found out that we were eligible for a complimentary yearly plumbing inspection. Hunter came last Friday and did a complete inspection of our home. He was prompt, very professional and very pleasant to deal with. He took the time to show us some of his concerns and to make reasonable recommendations. We will highly recommend tuck and Howell and especially Hunter.
